Rajin Saleh is an immensely talented player and takes as much of pride in his batting as he does in his fitness. He plays at number three in the first class circuit. He played just 5 domestic matches before playing for the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI against Australian Cricket Academy. His good show in the series attracted praise from the Australian bigwigs. He soon turned out for Bangladesh and played brilliantly. So good was his performance that he was declared skipper of the national team at age 21 for the ICC Champions Trophy in England.
