C.B. Fry made a name for himself when he scored six consecutive centuries in first class cricket. He averaged 50 in his first class career, a stupendous achievement since in his days matches were not as high scoring as they are today. He was also an effective bowler and finished his first class career of 394 matches with 166 wickets. C.B. Fry captained England and Mother Country and never lost against his captaincy. His friendship with Sir Ranjitsinhji has now been blended wth the local folklore. The two shared innumberable marathon partnerships, both excellent examples of an accomplised batsman. Besides cricket, C.B. Fry delved in other sports as well. These included football and athletics. He shared the world long jump record the American Charles Reber, for a long time.

C.B. Fry scored 30886 runs from his 394 first class matches. He also participated in 26 test matches, scoring 1223 runs at the rate of 32.18. Cricketscorelive.com gives information on C.B. Fry and other Great Cricket Players.
