Wisden Cricketer of the Year 2004 Chris Adams has already established a reputation in county cricket as one of the most aggressive batsmen. His consistent performances playing for Derbyshire and then later Sussex, earned him a test cap in 1999-00 series against South Africa. The series failed to give him the start he would have liked in international cricket. Chris Adams loose aggression got him dismissed for low scores, and the cricket pundits found flaws in his technique. Chris Adams' ten long years with Derbyshire brought him more woes than happiness.
