Tim Curtis made his test debut as an opening batsman for England against the West Indies. Inspite of an indifferent performance, Tim Curtis was still retained for the Ashes series in England. He carried his poor performance, which finally led to his exclusion from the side. In the five test matches that came his way Tim Curtis could not even manage a fifty. In 1993, Tim Curtis was appointed the captain of the Worcestershire Cricket Club, which he successfully lead to gain the NatWest trophy. Even after retiring for cricket in 1996, Tim Curtis fulfils his abiding love for cricket by writing about the game and coaching it.
