Tom Graveney was an extremely talented batsman who could have played more tests for England. Tom Graveney's proudest moment must have been when he captained England in a single test match against the Australians in 1968, when the Colin Cowdrey injured himself. The test match ended in a draw.
Tom Graveney played in 79 test matches and scored 4882 runs at an average of 44.38 runs per inning. He played county cricket for Gloucestershire and later Worcester. He was a proflic scorer for both the teams.
In 2005, Tom Graveney was made the President of the Marylebone Cricket Club.
