Khalid Khan has represented Hong Kong in two one-day internationals and two first class matches. He is a medium pacer and a lower order batsman. He has three international wickets, those of Khaled Mashud of Bangladesh, Imran Nazir and Imran Farhat, both from Pakistan, to his credit and a total of five runs. Khan's domestic cricket career began on 24 April 2005 in Sharjah against the United Arab Emirates, where he took a wicket in the first over, dismissing Asghar Ali, followed by Fahad Usman bowled in the following over. The next wicket came two hours later, with the number 11 Rizwan Latif bowled. Earlier while batting, Khan had hit his first boundary before Latif bowled him. Despite a second innings total of 184, Hong Kong lost the match and Khan only got one more wicket - Asghar Ali LBW again.
