Dick Motz was a strong and stout fast bowler who played 32 Tests for New Zealand and holds the distinction of being the first New Zealander to take 100 test wickets. Though New Zealand won 4 Tests while he was in the team, Dick Motz remains as one of the finest bowlers of New Zealand. He took 19 wickets on his first tour to South Africa.
