Since his debut against England in 2000, Danish Kaneria has proved to be ever improving cricketer and looks set to carry on the enigma of leg spin further. Danish Kaneria's stock ball is his deceptive googly; he also has the ability to drift the ball into the right handed batsman. Danish Kaneria has emerged as a match winner for Pakistan on number of instances- one of them being his 10-wicket haul against Sri Lanka in 2003, when Pakistan notched up a 6 wicket win. Though it is still early days for Danish Kaneria in test cricket, a comparison with other leading spinners may be extremely tempting. If one considers the records of the other spinners till their 28 tests, Danish Kaneria with 132 wickets clearly emerges at the top, followed by Shane Warne (125) and Muralitharan (107).
