Full name Mohammad Moin Khan Born September 23, 1971, Rawalpindi, Punjab Major teams Pakistan, Karachi, Pakistan International Airlines Batting style Right-hand bat Bowling style Right-arm offbreak
One of the liveliest cricketers around, Moin Khan has been a very successful wicketkeeper batsman for Pakistan. Rashid Latif and he constantly challenged each other for a place in the team. Though Latif was a better keeper, Moin Khan often scored over him as he was better that the former when it came to batting. Moin Khan was quite a handy batsman, having rescued Pakistan a number of times when the top order fell cheaply. He is also remembered for his vocal antics and the stump camera never failed to pick up his "encouraging" words! He has not played international cricket for a while now, and with Kamran Akmal a more or less permanent in the side, his chances of making a comeback seem bleak. However he continues to play domestic cricket. He is the first player to make a century in twenty-twenty cricket.
