Shoaib Malik made it to the Pakistani team as a spinner, but soon filled the role of a genuine all rounder. He is a very talented cricketer who has shown a lot of determination in lifting his game and becoming one of the Top 5 One Day International players (LG ICC Player Rankings). From batting lower down the order to opening the batting, he has played in all positions. However, he proved himself as an opener and now has impressively filled the Pakistani opening slot.
