Andrew Hall made his debut against Australia in 2002 with an impressive 70. He continued with his contributions, which came either from his broad bat or his medium pacers. In the 2003 tour of England, Andrew Hall ended the series with 16 wickets, apart from making a defiant match winning knock of 99 not out at Headingley. In 1999, Andrew Hall was shot on his left hand by a robber near an ATM counter. It had taken great determination on his part to overcome the injury and carry on with professional cricket.
