Ramveer Rai has represented the United Arab Emirates in one One-day International and one domestic match. He has also represented UAE at the youth level. In his only ODI, the Asia Cup match against Sri Lanka, he opened the batting and scored 39. It was the highest UAE individual score in the match. He was also the youngest cricketer to play for UAE, and the sixth youngest overall at age 16 years and 229 days. However, after a disappointing show against Malaysia in the Intercontinental Cup in 2004, Rai was excluded from the national team and has not played for UAE at the senior level since.
