Ravi Rampaul is a right arm fast bowler who has had a promising first class career. He is the first pace bowler of Indian origin to play for West Indies. After an impressive show in the World Under 15 Challenge in 2000 and at the 2002 Under 19 World Cup, he was selected in the national squad and toured Zimbabwe in 2003. He has thus far played 17 ODIs and claimed 11 wickets. Unfortunately, he bowls a lot of wides and no balls and that is one of his shortcomings.
