Major teams West Indies, Durham, Guyana, Northerns
Batting style Right-hand bat

When he began his career in the late nineties, Reon King was, at times, compared to Michael holding for his slinky run. He was considered to be West Indies' fastest bowler at the time and had many successful outings including the home series against Zimbabwe, which saw him claim his first five-wicket haul. After beating Pakistan, he and Franklin Rose were touted as the next Walsh-Ambrose. But after the disastrous series against England in 2000, both lost their touch and Reon King was said to be troubled by an injury. His career seemed to be over after that and he was not seen in action for the next four years, till a contract dispute with top players paved the way for his return to the national squad in 2004-`05. Cricketscorelive.com provides the profile of Reon King and other cricketers around the world.
